Partnerships

Oakland County's Planning and Economic Development assists business with relocating, expanding, or relocating in communities such as Novi. Oakland County also provides small business assistance program, training, and other types of assistance and serves as a valuable information resource. The City of Novi partners with Oakland County on these efforts for mutual benefit.

The City of Novi congratulates the Japan Business Society of Detroit on their 35th anniversary. Mayor David B. Landry and City administration recently attended a celebration honoring their commitment to the metropolitan area and thanked them for their strong partnership with the City of Novi.

The City of Novi is a member of Automation Alley. Automation Alley is a group of technology firms and institutions in southeast Michigan. The Automation Alley initiative began from Oakland County and has grown to represent high technology firms in the area, providing a forum for networking, recruiting, collaboration, and promotion. Automation Alley provides its government members such as the City of Novi an opportunity to take advantage of those same resources. The many technology firms and employees in Novi may also find a resource in the southeast Michigan Chapter of the Great Lakes Interactive Marketing Association (GLIMA). GLIMA is an association of interactive professionals to promote the growth of the interactive technology industries throughout the Great Lakes region and is an affiliate of Automation Alley.
